Cairns Festival Street Parade Sat 18th Aug 2012 Kath & Kim, our fabulous ‘croc boats’ will look their best for this year’s parade. Adorned with glitter, lights and a stunning ‘all girl crew’ we are sure our float will impress the judges and a chance at the prize money.

Cairns Motor Boat Club Picnic Day 31st Sept 2012   The last CMBC Picnic was so long ago, only our most senior members would recall the event…….. It's about time we had another. So join us at the Cairns Esplanade for the revival of this once popular get-together, with wooden boat displays, dragon boat racing and a family picnic. More information TBA

Great Tinaroo Raid 2012 - Another success Despite numbers being down a little on previous years the event lived up to expections of a fun long weekend. Activities included raft building and sailing, navigation missions to all reaches of the lake and any spare time was taken up with solving puzzles. The spit roast dinner was a treat, but by far the most popular event was the Cordless Canoe Challenge which demonstrated ingenuity and resourcefulness.
